Janesville Police are currently speaking to the driver of a pickup truck who’s suspected of hitting a bicyclist Monday morning and then fleeing the scene of the crash.
Janesville police say the accident occurred round 6:00 a.m. in the area of Beloit Avenue and Freedom Lane.
The bicyclist was traveling southbound when he was hit by a truck that was traveling in the same direction.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment.
The accident remains under investigation.
