The Milton School Board is exploring the idea of returning to the ballot box with a referendum question in the spring. The board Monday night proposed the idea of hosting a public listening on December 12th. Board members say they’ve heard various ideas from the community regarding new referendum terms since an $87 million questions failed earlier this month. Some board members are worried a public listening session would turn into an airing of grievances. Others say it’s necessary to reach out and get taxpayers on the same page.
