A local company is getting national recognition for a number of its products. PlayMonster of Beloit spokeswoman Lisa Wuennemann says the game maker has been nominated for five “Toy of the Year” awards. Nominations including Activity Toy of the Year, Gamer of the Year, and Specialty Toy of the Year. This is a record number for PlayMonster. Winners are chosen by on-line voting from the public.
