Authorities are releasing the names of the 75-year-old Janesville woman and 57-year-old Davis, Illinois man killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon on Highway 14 near North River Road. The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Department identifies the driver and sole occupant of one vehicle as Bradley W. Britt. The other driver and sole occupant is identified as Carolyn Rhodes. Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicate the crash occurred at about 3:30 in the afternoon, when Rhodes lost control of her truck on the icy road while traveling east. The Sheriff’s Office says her truck veered into the westbound lane of traffic, hitting the other truck. The highway was rerouted for five hours.
