Another dip in the local unemployment rate. The Department of Workforce Development reports the unemployment rate for the Janesville-Beloit metropolitan statistical area dipped another .1% in November to 3.8%. The DWD says unemployment rates decreased in all areas over the year compared to November of last year, but the largest decline is found in the Janesville-Beloit area. Officials say continuing unemployment claims in Wisconsin are running the lowest in at least the past 30-years.
