Beloit Police say the victims and the suspects in a shooting Friday afternoon knew each other.
The incident happened at 3:20 in the parking lot of the Krueger Haskell Golf Course.
The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office says 16-year-old Savion N. Latimer of Beloit died from a gun shot wound to the head.
An 18-year-old was also taken to the hospital after suffering gunshot wounds to the face and leg. He was later arrested on a probation violation and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
Three people were arrested in connection to the shooting, 19-year-old Jodany Rodriuguez of Beloit and two 16-year-olds.
Beloit Police also seized two SUVs that were involved in the shooting.
