If the City of Edgerton wants to continue hosting the wildly popular Harry Potter Festival, it may have to pony up.
City Administrator Ramona Flanigan says organizers are asking the City Council for more than $100,000 in services.
Requests include providing $25,000 for marketing, coordinating and paying for a fireworks show, construction of two mazes – including a permanent one, and providing 12 shuttle buses.
Flanigan says organizers claim to have lost nearly $100,000 on the event last year, and are also considering moving it to another City.
The City council will discuss the requests again after the organizers provide more accurate cost estimates prior to their meeting on January 16th.
