Maintenance work planned on I-39/90 near Janesville and Edgerton

Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. January 24th, I-39/90 northbound will be reduced to one lane from the US 14 interchange (Exit 171B) to the WIS 26 interchange (Exit 171A) in Janesville. Backups and delays are anticipated on the northbound Interstate, and no traffic impacts are expected on I-39/90 southbound. The WIS 26 and US 14 interchange ramps will remain open during these operations. Motorists are urged to be alert and slow down as crews complete pavement repairs in this area.

Also, the I-39/90 northbound ramp to WIS 59 (Exit 163), near Edgerton and Newville, will be closed from 8 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 25) to 5 a.m. Thursday (Jan. 26). Motorists are required to use alternate routes. Crews will complete minor repairs to the overhead sign bridge at this ramp.

The work and operations are weather dependent and subject to change. Motorists should be alert for crews working in the area and drive with caution through all work zones.
