A historic building in downtown Janesville has a very trendy new business. Rock County Brewing Company co-founder Andy Walker and his partners, who are finally opening the nano-brewery in the old Carriage Works building, have a passion for making beer. Walker says the tap room, located on North Parker Drive, will be just feet away from where a constantly changing variety of beers will be brewed. The downtown tap room won’t be the Rock County Brewing Company’s only difference from a typical pub. Walker say since they’re focusing on making beer and the environment it will be served, they’re not offering food, so patrons can bring in “take-out”. The Rock County Brewing Company currently has limited weekend hours.
