Rock County realtors are enjoying a boom time. Rock-Green Realtors Association President Heidi Krenz-Buchanan says the median sales price of a home sold in 2016 increased 10% compared to the year before. The latest report from the Wisconsin Realtors Association also shows the number of home sales in Rock County increased 8% over the year before. Reasons cited in the report include tight inventories, a solid economy, favorable mortgage rates, and fewer foreclosures. The WRA called 2016 a record year for state home sales.
