The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation is awarding the Janesville Innovation Center a $66,000 grant to advance the climate for entrepreneurship. Innovation Center Manager Mike Mathews says the money will be used through the Rock County Entrepreneurial Business Development Program. Matthews says the money will be used to help ensure new companies are developing successful business plans and connecting with the right resources. The Janesville Innovation Center is one of 11 state organizations getting such grants.
