The Janesville Craig High School “Rock ‘n’ Robot” team is competing in the international robotics programming competition sponsored by the Massachusetts Institute for Technology, NASA, and the European Space Agency. Computer Science Teacher Janice Bain says the winning team’s programming for flying spherical robots will be used aboard the International Space Station. 18-year-old senior Sophia Werner calls the preliminary competitions leading up to this exciting. The team from Craig is among the ten finalists from around the world competing Friday at MIT.
