Owners of electric-powered vehicles can now charge up at Beloit Hospital. Alliant Energy spokesman Bill Alt says Beloit Health System is one of the first companies in Rock County to take advantage of the power company’s rebate program. Alt says the city of Janesville is also planning to install a couple of charging stations in the downtown parking garage. He says SHINE Medical has also expressed an interest. A rebate check presentation ceremony was planned for 1:00 Friday afternoon at Beloit Hospital.
