The Milton School District may be considering collaborating with the Parker YMCA on a swimming pool. District officials say the plan could reduce the cost of a new proposed Milton School’s facility referendum. District Administrator Tim Schigur says discussions are preliminary, but if the partnership comes to fruition, the pool likely would be built at a new high school. Schigur says that’s a departure from previous talks between the district and the YMCA when the pool would have been located at the “Y” and students would have been bused for physical education programs and sport team use.
