The Janesville City Council settles a claim filed by Blain Supply for excessive assessment of it’s property at 3501 East Racine Street.
Under the settlement approved in a four to three vote Monday night Blain Supply will be refunded a total of $327,000 for an over assessment in the years 2013 through 2016.
Two-thirds of that money would be paid back by the other tax jurisdictions such as the county and school district.
