A 24-year-old Chicago woman is dead after a weekend traffic crash in Janesville. The state patrol says the crash happened on the Interstate just north of the East Racine Street overpass about 11:30 Saturday night. A news release says a Chevrolet Equinox traveling north left the road and rolled an unknown number times in the right ditch. The 24-year-old, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was ejected and ended up under the car. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, a 36-year-old man from Marshfield, and another passenger, a 46-year-old man, were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The State Patrol says no one was wearing a seat belt.
