The City of Janesville Parks Department is taking advantage of the unseasonably warm weather and getting a jump on spring. Forestry Coordinator Ethan Lee says crews are already burning away some of the dead undergrowth. Lee says they tackled several areas already this week. A discussion with staff learned no one can ever remember getting started this early. Lee jokingly adds he’s a little worried they’ll have to start mowing soon.
