Residents of a east side home will need a place to stay for a while. Firefighters were called out about noon Saturday to a home in the 2500 block of Lombard Avenue. Officials say they were encouraged to find the two adults living there were able to escape with the pets, because damage to the home was extensive. All four Janesville engines, and the tower-ladder truck, and well as other resources were called out to battle the blaze. No one was reported injured.
