With all the current political discussion about immigration, a talk by a long time migrant worker organizer, planned for U-W Rock County (Tuesday) night, might be more significant than expected. History Professor Elizabeth Jozwiak says Jesus Salas will likely only be sharing stories of his family’s move to Wisconsin in the 1940’s, and subsequent efforts on behalf of migrants. Jozwiak says Salas’s efforts in the 1960’s mirrored the national United Workers movement. The talk is set for 6:30 p.m. in Williams Hall.
