Most arborists would likely agree the Emerald Ash Borer has taken a toll on urban forests. Janesville Parks and Forestry Coordinator Ethan Lee says 1100 trees were cut down in the city last year alone. He says property owners have been finding success with treatments since EAB was discovered four-years ago. Lee is urging homeowners, hoping to save their trees, to remember to treat them in the spring.
