Two fires in Rock County over the weekend are under investigation. A home east of Milton was destroyed, but the residents escaped during the blaze Sunday afternoon about 4:00 o’clock in the 7200 hundred block of East Bowers Lake Road. Firefighters say the homeowners had been burning brush on the property. Damage is estimated around $350 thousand. Fifteen departments participated in that call. The other fire happened early Saturday night northeast of Janesville. Firefighters from 20 agencies responded to a home in the 8400 block of West Seeman Road a little before 7:00 o’clock. No one was reported injured in either fire.
