Milton High School Principal Jeremy Bilhorn is sold on the importance of music and the arts in education. Bilhorn says one key to academic success for students is often a sense of belonging. He says a great example in his district is the growing ranks of both band and choir. He says many of these students form strong bonds throughout their school career. Many of those students will be coming together Thursday when Milton hosts several other schools in a Wisconsin School Music Association sanctioned concert festival.
