The Wisconsin Realtors Association report shows both the number of home sales and the median sales price for Rock County dipped a bit in February compared to last year. Sales numbers were down almost 15% and the report shows an almost 7% drop in the median sales price. This follows years of steadily increasing numbers as the market recovered from the recession. Rock-Green Realtors Association President Heidi Krenz-Buchanan points to a simple reason for the trend. She says inventory is down. She also says construction permits are up, so she expects both the number of sales and prices to increase over the next three months.
