The new Executive Director for the Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce is very familiar with the operation and the members it serves. Aimee Thurner has seen a lot of changes in the local business community since she started as office manager 15-years ago. Thurner has been interim director for the last few months. She says, with the leadership change, the first order of business will be some strategic planning. She does expect the chamber this year to focus on community and professional development, business advocacy, and networking for members.
