Candidates for Milton Mayor face off in a public forum. The public’s perception of the relationship among Milton City Council members becomes an issue in the Mayor’s race. Incumbent Anissa Welch admits some people might think council members don’t get along. Challenger, and incumbent council member Jeremy Zajac describes it as a matter of respect. Commitment to community was also highlighted. Welch offered how, as a single mother of three, the community helped her successfully raise her children. Zajac mentioned his family’s experience in the community as a motivation to contribute. The Milton Chamber of Commerce hosted the forum, along with the city council and school board races.
