Janesville police arrest six people in connection to burglaries reported Wednesday at trucking equipment company Northland Equipment on Janesville’s south side and a residence on the east side.
Janesville police say Friday 40-year-old Jermell H. Sledge of Janesville was arrested on suspicion of four felony counts of burglary, and 19-year-old Mary A. Allan on suspicion of two felony counts of burglary.
37-year-old Alfonso Jarrett was arrested for suspicion of one count of felony receiving stolen property.
The arrests came shortly after 7:00 p.m. when Janesville police used a warrant to search two apartments on the 200 block of South Jackson Street.
Thousands of dollars in undisclosed property was stolen from Northland Equipment and a residence in the 1000 block of North Wuthering Hills Drive.
Some of the items stolen have been recovered.
Also arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property were 53-year-old John M. Bailey, 36-year-old Ladell T. Herron, and 44-year-old Bernadine L. Herron, all of Janesville
