Five less students have been expelled from the Janesville School District this year than at this same time last year.
A high school student was expelled for possessing a bb gun on school property. The student is eligible for early reinstatement if they meet a number of conditions.
Another high school student was expelled for making threats to a building administrator. That student is also eligible for early reinstatement by meeting a list of conditions
This brings the total number of expulsions this school year to 12 compared to 17 at the same time last year.
