The FBI is offering the reward for information leading to the arrest of a 32-year-old Janesville man suspected in a gun shop burglary whose apparent threats caused schools to cancel classes and events Friday. Local law enforcement, along with the FBI told a gathering of media at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport Friday morning Joseph A. Jakubowski is considered armed and extremely dangerous. Rock County Sheriff Robert Spoden revealed Jakubowski had written a 161-page manifesto expressing his displeasure with government. Spoden said Jakubowski recently has been “highly agitated” by national politics and had told “an associate” he planned to steal guns and “use them to conduct an unspecified attack.” He also made unspecific threats toward schools. Spoden said more than 150 local, state and federal law enforcement officers have been working to locate Jakubowski since Thursday morning. Jakubowski is wanted in connection with the burglary of the Armageddon Supplies gun shop, where police say an automatic weapon and other guns were stolen Tuesday night.
