A three dimensional target manufacturer operating in Janesville is hoping for tax incentives from the City to help expand.
Economic Development Director Gale Price says Monday night the City Council will consider a tax incremental financing agreement with J & L Targets on Beloit Avenue.
Price says the TIF deal would have the City providing a $131,000 forgivable loan in exchange for the construction of a 9,000 square foot expansion and the creation of 16 additional jobs.
Price says the council approved another TIF deal with the company nine years ago which resulted in the creation of 22 more jobs than the agreement called for.
