This morning the extensive investigatory efforts to apprehend Joseph A. Jakubowski (M/W, DOB: 07/21/84, 5’10”, 200 lbs., green eyes and brown hair) continue as local, state, and federal law enforcement personnel follow-up on the multitude of tips coming in. As of 8:00 AM Monday, additional federal resources have been brought in from across the nation to aid in this investigation.
Law enforcement continues to confer with area school officials out of an abundance of caution. Local patrols have been increased.
Local law enforcement personnel have been collaborating closely with all of the federal and state law enforcement agencies to utilize all available investigative tools to locate Jakubowski. Nearly 425 tips have come in on the Tip Lines. As a reminder, the FBI continues to offer a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the apprehension of Jakubowski, who is considered “armed and dangerous”. Direct sightings of Jakubowski should be immediately reported to “911”, and general tips or historical information on Jakubowski should be telephoned into 1-800-CALLFBI (225-5324).
It is anticipated that a press conference will be scheduled in the future if there are any major changes in this investigation.
