A Janesville man who plead guilty to a single count of possession of child pornography will not spend time behind bars.
Judge John Wood presided over 44-year-old Larry Johnson Johnson’s plea and sentencing Wednesday afternoon in Rock County Court.
Johnson had originally been charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography after 15 images and five videos were found on his laptop.
Citing Johnson’s lack of criminal history and low risk of re-offending, Judge Wood sentenced him to six years of probation.
Johnson was arrested in September of last year following an investigation by the State Division of Criminal Investigation.
