Interstate lane closures begin north of Edgerton this week. Department of Transportation spokesman Steve Theisen says the northbound lanes will be closed Tuesday night between highway 73 and 12/18 in Madison and the southbound lanes will be closed Wednesday night. Theisen says crews are beginning the replacement process of the county highway AB bridge. Only one lane will be open in the other direction as well. Detours will be posted. The reconstruction project should be complete by Labor Day.
