Scrap metal drive underway in Milton

A local community has a unique way to fund park improvements. Milton Public Works Director Howie Robinson is encouraging residents to bring in their scrap metal.  Robinson says more than 17-tons of scrap metal was collected last year.  The scrap ranges from Christmas lights to refrigerators.  The city then cashes in the recyclable metal and uses the money to buy playground and other equipment for the parks department.
