The Rock County District Attorney’s Office is waiting for a more complete medical examiner’s report before changing the charges against a 31-year-old Beloit man suspected in the death of his infant son. Prosecuting attorney Richard Sullivan suggested delaying the preliminary hearing for Deanthony C. Hodges scheduled Wednesday morning.  The Medical Examiner’s Office says 59-day-old Amanii Cardell Hodges died as a result of homicidal abusive head trauma. This report was filed after charges of Child Abuse-Recklessly Causing Great Harm were levied. The preliminary hearing is now set for May 2nd.
