Judge rules man sentenced to 10 years for 11th OWI had effective council

A 51-year-old former Janesville man who was given 10 years in prison on an 11th intoxicated driving conviction hopes to get another chance.
51-year-old Bradley Skelly argued Tuesday in Rock County Court that he had been offered a better plea deal, but that his attorney never presented it.
Judge James Daley found in favor of Skelly’s former attorney Joshua Klaff.
Skelly was arrested in October of 2014 for 11th offense OWI while he had his 14-year-old child in the car.  It was the 7th tine Skelly had been arrested for OWI with a child in the vehicle.
