The School District of Milton is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a school safety informational meeting on Monday, April 24, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. in the District Office, located at 448 E. Milton Street in the City of Milton.
The meeting will introduce the Safe Schools Interagency Team, which includes representatives from the City of Milton Police Department, City of Janesville Police Department and Rock County Sheriff’s Office.
The meeting will also share a brief presentation about the School District of Milton Crisis Communications Management Plan and how it works in partnership with local public safety officials when responding to critical incidents. There will be a ten minute question and answer session after the presentation where the public may ask questions of school district and/or local law enforcement officials about our safe schools interagency team and/or response protocols.
The meeting is open to the general public.
