Joseph Jakubowski appears in Rock County Court

The State’s case against Joseph Jakubowski appears to be strong.
During the 32-year-old Janesville man’s preliminary hearing Tuesday in Rock County Court Rock County Sheriff’s Detective Ronald Betley testified that blood was collected at the scene of the burglary at Armageddon Supply on April 4th.  That blood was sent to the State Crime Lab where it was determined that the DNA matched that of Joseph Jakubowski.
Betley further testified that during questioning Jakubowski admitted to the crime.
Court Commissioner Stephen Meyer bound Jakuowski over for trial and a non guilty plea was entered on his behalf.
He’s currently being held on a $30,000 cash bond.
