Two shootings in two days in Beloit

Beloit Police are investigating two apparently separate shooting incidents. Lieutenant John Kalternbrun says the first was reported around 10:30 Sunday night.  Kaltenbrun says the victim reported being shot by a random gunman while he was driving his car on Prairie Avenue near Cranston Road.  A second shooting incident began early Monday afternoon near the 900 block of Hacket Street when the occupant of one vehicle shot at another. Shortly after, police say a similar shooting took place near 6th of Olympian. Kaltenburn says a 27-year-old Beloit man has already been arrested on charges of Recklessly Endangering Safety in that incident.
