A local anti-drug abuse group wants to separate fact from fiction when it comes to marijuana. Youth-2-Youth 4-Change Director Debbie Fischer says more education about marijuana is needed. Youth-2-Youth 4-Change is planning a public awareness event to separate the myths from the facts regarding today’s marijuana. Fischer says featured speaker Ed Shemeya is the Director of the National Marijuana Initiative. Fischer says a pair of two-hour summits are planned. Both sessions are Thursday, the first at noon at St. Johns Church in Beloit, and 7:30 in the evening in the Wilson Theatre of Beloit College.
