One of the six men accused of terrorizing a town of Harmony family in their home in January of 2016 pleads guilty to one of the charges against him.
23-year-old Damien Shontell Hewlett appeared before Rock County Judge James Daley Wednesday afternoon where he plead guilty to the crime of party to armed robbery.
According to the criminal complaint a group of young men, including Hewlett entered a home in January of 2016, held the family at gunpoint, and ransacked the residence for cash and electronics.
As part of the plea agreement, charges of burglary, false imprisonment, criminal damage to property, theft, and escape were dropped.
Hewlett is due to be sentenced in July.
