Local law enforcement is busy investigating a number of armed robberies. The most recent reported at 3:43 a.m. Monday at the Lyons Quick Mart in the 1600 block of West Highway 14 in Janesville. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. The Beloit Police Department is also investigating an early morning robbery at the Speedway Gas Station on Milwaukee Road. Officers say two men with a knife entered the convenience store just after midnight Sunday and demanded cash and cigarettes. A little after 8:00 p.m. Sunday, Beloit Police responded to the Family Dollar on Madison Road. Officers say a man with a gun came into the store and demanded cash. Police are investigating if any of the incidents are related. No one was reported injured.
