50-years is a long time, and UW-Rock County is celebrating. As part of the commemoration, Assistant Professor of Music Jeff Suarez says a 50th Anniversary Gala concert is planned Wednesday night. Suarez says, as part of the 7:30 p.m. celebration in the Kirk Denmark Theatre, past professors will be returning to conduct. He also says concert band enrollment is close to a record high, and the students appear very interested in the history, and what the band is all about. The campus is also planning an open house Sunday afternoon May 21st.
