A group of Democrats in the legislature is moving to limit Republican changes to health care. Deb Kolste of Janesville has joined in the introduction of a Health Care Package which includes a number of protections. Kolste says important elements of the Health Care Protection Package include allowing for pre-existing conditions, requiring coverage for preventative services under health insurance plans, and prohibiting annual and lifetime limits on coverage. She says the measure is designed to limit the damage to Wisconsin residents if the U.S. Congress passes the AHCA as it’s written now.
