The latest round of expulsions in the Janesville School District brings this year’s total to 14 students, compared to 20 during the same time period last year. District officials say the latest round of expulsions include a middle and high school student. The middle school student is expelled through next year for harassing another student through the use of a cell phone. The high schooler is expelled through next year for having a knife on school grounds. Both students can earn earlier reinstatement.
