First Lady Tonette Walker traveled to Beloit Thursday afternoon to unveil a Little Free Library Initiative at Merrill Elementary School.
The Little Free Library works to increase the availability of books for children in every neighborhood to instill early childhood literacy and help create a positive bond between parents and children.
The new Little Free Library is sponsored by the Theta Pi Gamma Sorority at Beloit College.
