A graduate returns to his alma mater to show his support. Blackhawk Technical College spokesman Gary Kohn says Stateline Boys and Girls Club Chief Professional Officer Mark Rand is a 1988 graduate, and will be the featured speaker at Saturday’s commencement. Kohn says ceremonies will also be streamed on-line. He says this has become popular the last couple of years, gaining users in more than 50 countries. More than 300 students are expected to cross the stage for the 11:30 a.m. ceremony in the Dream Center on campus.
