The Rock County 4H Fair will build a little steam this weekend. Coronation committee co-chair Lynn Galbreth-Wilson says the royalty will be chosen during ceremonies Sunday. Traditionally coronation was held the opening night of the fair, but the fairly recent change may be proving successful Galbrath-Wilson says it allows the king and queen to serve all summer. The five finalists include:
— Anastasia Schliem, a six-year member of Badger 4-H.
— Noah Fenrick, a 12-year member of La Prairie 4-H.
— Brooke Trustem, a 13-year member of Magnolia 4-H.
— Brook Berlin, a four-year member of Milton FFA.
— Jack Elliot, a 12-year member of River Valley 4-H.
The coronation ceremonies will be held at 4:00 p.m. in the Block Building on the fairgrounds, just off of Craig Avenue in Janesville.
