Janesville Police are seeking a man who robbed a gas station on the southeast side of Janesville. Officers responded to a report of a robbery just after midnight Saturday at JR Quick Mart on Midland Road. A single masked male entered the store and demanded money. The suspect did not display a weapon or infer he had one, but the clerk felt threatened and gave the man an undetermined amount of money. The suspect is described as a male of unknown race, about five feet, nine inches tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, gray winter gloves and with a gray rag covering his face. A Rock County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit assisted in the search, but the suspect was not located.
