Downtown Janesville Inc. (formerly Downtown Development Alliance) is hosting a Town Hall Meeting on May 31 at 5:30 pm at The Venue, 37 S. Water Street in downtown Janesville.
Downtown Janesville property owners and business owners are encouraged to attend the May 31 Town Hall to learn more about the Business Improvement District (BID) and how it can assist their businesses with strategic planning and growth. A BID allows properties within a geographic area to contribute to programs aimed at promotion, management, maintenance and development of that district.
The Economic Development Committee of Downtown Janesville, Inc. will present BID information that includes the downtown map, potential assessments, and a proposed budget, timeline and process.
“Our committee would like the opportunity to let the downtown property owners know where we are in the process and get feedback before the BID process moves along any further,” says Britten Langfoss, President of Downtown Janesville, Inc.
