The Rock County Sheriff’s Office and Janesville Police Department are singled out for their hard work during a more-than week long hunt for a wanted fugitive.
The Janesville City Council voted unanimously in favor of a resolution commending local and federal law enforcement for the safe apprehension of Joseph Jakubowski.
Jakubowski was captured early last month after nine days on the run. He’s accused of burglarizing a gun store and sending a lengthy anti-establishment manifesto to President Donald Trump.
